1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to FamilyStreaks! By accessing or using our family accountability application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

FamilyStreaks is operated by Gravitational Media Partners LLC, part of The Brain2 Project ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").

2. Description of Service

FamilyStreaks is a family accountability platform that helps families build better habits together through task management, rewards, challenges, and streak tracking. The Service allows family members to:

• Create and manage family groups
• Assign and complete tasks
• Earn points and redeem rewards
• Track habits and maintain streaks
• Participate in family challenges
• View leaderboards and achievements

3. Account Registration

To use FamilyStreaks, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Parents or guardians may create accounts for children under 13 and are responsible for supervising their use of the Service.

4. Family Groups

When you create or join a family group, you understand that:

• Other family members can view your activity, tasks, points, and achievements within the group
• Parents have administrative privileges to manage tasks, rewards, and approve completions
• You may leave a family group at any time
• Family creators can remove members from the group
• Invite codes should only be shared with intended family members

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Share your account credentials with others outside your family
• Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to FamilyStreaks (task names, comments, profile pictures, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or infringe on the rights of others.

7. Intellectual Property

The FamilyStreaks name, logo, and all related graphics, software, and content are owned by Gravitational Media Partners LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Results vary. Family outcomes depend on participation, consistency, and individual circumstances. FamilyStreaks is a tool to help families build better habits together, but we do not guarantee any specific results.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRAVITATIONAL MEDIA PARTNERS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gravitational Media Partners LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
